Providing Evidence-based Treatment Throughout the Lifespan
What are Anxiety Disorders?
Anxiety disorders affect approximately 40 million Americans, and are the most common psychiatric illnesses affecting children and adults. Luckily, despite how common and disabling anxiety disorders can be, effective treatment is available. Our program bases our treatment plans on the most current research to provide excellent, evidence-based treatment. Current research supports Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as the primary psychotherapy intervention in the treatment of anxiety disorders. Each of our clinicians have advanced training in CBT and extensive experience in the treatment of a variety of anxiety disorders. Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) is the evidence based treatment for Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder. In addition to CBT training, each of our clinicians have also received advanced training in ERP. Click here to learn about specific anxiety disorders
